Andi Kozak, Sassy Andi, has been making a name for herself on the St Louis art scene over the last 10 years. Using an impressionistic style, her paintings are influenced by everyday poses or situations, her love of animals and nature. Her style is playful and unique – bringing a “something for everyone” appreciation to her events.
Andi has participated in many community festivals including Grove Fest, Soulard Art Fair, Let Them Eat Art and more. She has had pieces selected for juried gallery shows at the St Louis Artist Guild, Old Orchard Gallery and Mad Art Gallery. Her paintings can be seen around town in some of her favorite local restaurants. In the winter Andi hosts the Holiday Indie Market held inside the Maya Café. December 2018 will mark the 5th annual Market. Also in the fall/winter months, Sassy Andi holds the PawPRINTS Pet Food Drive, an annual holiday cat and dog food drive benefiting a local animal shelter.
One of Andi’s favorite ways to share her artistic talents is through charity events. Over the past few years she has proudly been a featured artist in the Soiree for Strays Gala benefiting Gateway Pet Guardians animal shelter and the Art of PAWS Charity Event supporting an initiative by the St Louis Effort for AIDS organization to help patients keep and care for their pets while in treatment and beyond. Knowing that her artwork is doing even ‘greater work’ is very rewarding.
